Last week’s episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow followed Rip Hunter on his downward turncoat spiral.

New Jersey Christmas Day 1776 

Rip has his accent and hair back and is now commanding the British army. The former Captain gives his new comrades modern weapons to defeat the Americans. He then takes it upon himself to kill General Washington in order to attract The Legends attention. Rip wants to lure them to him so he can kill The Legends and take the fragment of the spear of destiny and give it to Eobart Thawne.

Timeship Inside The Vortex

Ray sets up a chore chart to keep the ship clean. Sarah and the team learn about the death of General Washington. She knows its “a trap” and tells them to be careful and play it safe when they are in the field.

Pennsylvania Christmas Eve 1776

The team arrives at a Christmas Eve party at Washington’s estate. Mick sets the place ablaze and Sarah takes Washington out of there by gun point when they are ambushed by British soldiers. Rip uses some sonic device to find the timeship and turn off the power and coincidently kill Ray’s suit.  As Sarah, Mick and Washington try to escape they are surrounded by Rip and a few of his men. Rip shoots Sarah and then takes Mick and Washington hostage.

Timeship 1776

Jax carries Sarah back to the timeship to the med-bay. Firestorm attempts to merge to get the ship’s power back on but they can’t. Rip’s sonic device fried their merging device. Sarah then puts Jax in charge while she is out of commission. He sends Amaya and Nate to save Mick, Washington and the turncoat Rip while he and Ray work on getting the timeship back up.

Pennsylvania 1776

While on their rescue mission Nate tries to explain Tinder and modern relationships to Amaya. They are then ambushed by a few soldiers and Nate falls off a nearby cliff and into the river. Amaya channels her seal powers to save him. Unfortunately he gets hypothermia and he needs skin to skin contact to warm him up. He says this isn’t how her pictured getting her naked. Lmfao! The two finally hook up a little while later.

Over in the British camp Washington gets Mick’s life spared.

Timeship 1776

Turncoat Rip breaks into the ship and Jax sets up booby traps for him and his gang. He is chasing Jax around the timeship in order to get the fragment. When he finally finds Jax, Rip offers Jax his father’s life in exchange for the spear fragment. Jax says no. The only way he will get it is if Rip pries it from his cold dead hands.

Jax figures out how to turn the auxiliary power back on and Rip tells Jax The Legion of Doom freed him. Jax blows up another booby trap and escapes Rip. While this is going on Ray is being chased by a rat. Keep in mind he is still in miniature form.

Even though Jax escaped Rip, Rip still managed to find Martin and Sarah. Once again Rip kills Sarah by breaking her neck even after Jax told him where to find the fragment of the spear of destiny. Rip grabs the fragment of the spear from his telescope and exits the ship. Jax follows him, on a mission to murder Rip for what he has done.

Ray saves the day and gets the timeship back online. This brings Gideon back online just in time to save Sarah.

Pennsylvania 1776

Mick and Washington escape by fighting side by side. They get a little help from Amaya and Nate and they all escape the British army by fleeing.

Sarah is alive and finds Jax with a gun pointed at Rip. She makes Jax let him go and the turncoat gets away with the piece of the spear. Back at Washington’s estate Mick tries to get Washington to update the criminal justice system but is interrupted by Amaya and Nate. Washington and Mick then hug it out and Washington lets Mick know that the letter to his wife Martha was actually a battle plan.

Timeship Inside The Vortex

History has been restored and Mick has a statue of himself in Pennsylvania that he can thank Washington for. At the close of the episode the team has a Christmas party and celebrate their victory.

Ray gives Mick the rat as a Christmas present and Nate gives Amaya a pair of ruby slippers. Amaya lets Nate know that she still thinks teammates shouldn’t fraternize and he agrees even though he definitely wants a relationship with her.

Other tidbits from the episode:

Mick’s voice over for the opening. “Who writes this crap anyway?”

Hitler ruined The Wizard of Oz for Amaya. She had to ship out with the JSA before she could finish the movie.

When The Legends return on February 21st:

In this week’s episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow we finally got to see how The Legion of Doom musketeers got together. Back in Star City 2016 when Darhk was killed by The Green Arrow, Eobart Thawne arrived at Malcolm Merlin’s apartment with the recently departed. That is where the duo were informed of Thawne’s plan to change reality and where they eagerly jumped aboard Team Reverse Flash.

Legion of Doom Holding Cell 2017:

Jump to present day (2017) and the trio is in-fighting over what to do with their newly gained hostage, Rip Hunter. Merlin wants to try to hypnotize Rip using regression therapy. The League of Assassins didn’t call him The Magician for nothing. Unfortunately Merlin lost his touch when he lost his hand and was unable to gain anything from Rip because Rip’s memories are gone. Darhk then decided to take matters into his own hands and removed one of Rip’s teeth. The tooth he sadistically pulled had a barcode for a safe deposit box in Switzerland.

The last time the box was accessed was January 2025. Merlin and Darhk went after the deposit box while Thawne was noticeably absent.

Central City 2017:

Back on the Waverider, The Legends tried to decipher what the Languid Medallion does and how it communicates the location of the Spear of Destiny. Luckily Martin’s daughter Lily is able to lend the team a helping hand. She is able to get the medallion to open using a short ionic pulse. On the timeship Lily meets the team and pairs the medallion with Gideon.

Ray and Lily celebrated their success but it was short lived when Mick arrived to the party. Mick purposely let it slip that Lily is a time aberration and forces Martin to tell her the truth.

Martin originally didn’t want children because he was afraid to become the father his father was. He tells Lily that at first he didn’t want children but now he knows he needs her and that he wouldn’t want a life without her in it.

The professor then miraculously remembers Eobart Thawne aka Reverse Flash and how he was erased from the timeline when Eddie Thawne killed himself. The team realizes that’s why they didn’t have any information on the speedster. Nate then figures out that Thawne can’t stay in one place for a very long time which is why he is constantly on the move. He is running from something.

Zurich, Switzerland 2025:

Merlin and Darhk take Phil (aka Rip) to Switzerland with them thinking he will be able to safely open the deposit box without causing Darhk to take civilian causalities. Their scheme does not go according to plan and they are forced to leave the bank without safe deposit box 4587.

Legion of Doom Holding Cell 2017:

Merlin and Darhk had another squabble after returning to the holding cell. They of course settled the dispute with a good ‘ole fashioned sword fight, League of Assassins’ style. Rip is able to get the duo to stop fighting when he makes them question Thawne’s motives and whereabouts during their attempted bank heist. Merlin and Darhk then agree to team up and take on the speedster for equal treatment; they head back to the bank this time with the security override code.

When Thawne returned he was only greeted by Rip. His henchmen went rogue. Rip tells Thawne where the pair went and he takes off after them.

Zurich, Switzerland 2025:

Merlin and Darhk are greeted by Thawne after they discover a nuermonic archive (used to store memories) in the safe deposit box. Thawne takes the device and the duo trap him inside the vault with them.

His watch goes off and he begins to panic. Turns out Thawne is running from The Black Flash, a zombie-like speedster, that wants to kill him and can sense the speedforce within him. Merlin and Darhk agree to help Thawne if he treats them as equals from now on. He agrees and the duo set up The Black Flash.

They have Thawne stand still, thus no longer using the speedforce, so the creature can’t detect him. Merlin and Darhk were able to attack and capture the creature. They placed it inside the safe where Rip’s deposit box was but it won’t hold the creature for long so the musketeers make a move and head back to the holding cell. This sequence was quite enjoyable to watch as we got to see this big-bad villain squirm and shake with fear.

Legion of Doom Holding Cell 2017:

Once back at The Legion of Doom’s headquarters, Thawne uploads Rip’s memories and makes some adjustments to them before giving them back to Rip.

New Jersey 1776 – Christmas Day:

Armed with his jostled memories, Rip travels back in time and murders General George Washington.

Next Week:

The Legends go back to 1776 to save General Washington and learn that Rip’s brain has been scrambled by The Legion of Doom

Tuesday’s (January 24^th) episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow finally revealed what happened to Rip Hunter and introduced us to a young George Lucas.

Back in N.Y. when the Waverider was on the verge of exploding, Rip grabbed a piece of wood from the floor board (The Holy Lance/Spear of Destiny) and then used the timedrive on himself in order to reset the timeline and consequentially rearrange his own reality. The spear he left with has the power to rewrite reality permanently. Hence why Darhk, Merlin and Thawne are after it.

Fast forward, well technically reverse back to L.A. 1967 and Rip Hunter is a hot-shot AMERICAN student director named Phil who has George Lucas as his prop master for a film based on Rip Hunter’s life. Rip’s repressed memories are the backbone of the screenplay Phil has written.

The languid medallion that Merlin and Darhk have in their possession is a compass to spear of destiny. The team finds Rip in L.A. but unfortunately for them he doesn’t remember them at all. Rip and George are then attacked by Merlin and Darhk. The Legends are able to save them but can’t prevent Rip/Phil from being arrested.

Therefore, Martin, Sarah and Mick are forced to break him out of jail. This is after Martin takes a break from being Mick’s shrink; Mick divulged to Martin that he has been seeing Snart for some time now, hoping the professor might be able to help him get his brain back. The Legends are able to break Rip out but Merlin and tow aren’t that far behind them. Luckily Ray drives the Waverider to their location and picks them up. This of course causes Rip to pass out as he thought he was making everything up.

Once back on the ship Ray and Nate start to have side effects of an aberration. Turns out good old George Lucas is the aberration. After the attack George dropped out of film school and thus altered the career paths of Nate and Ray. The two with the help of Amaya go get George and convince him to go back to school.

Back on the ship we learn that Mick had an antenna of sorts placed in his skull when he was Chronos. That antenna gathered up black matter that Snart merged with when he blew up. It turns out the antenna was never on and Mick has been seeing Snart because he is questioning his morals. On the other side of the timeship Jax and Sarah learn that Rip gave the spear of destiny to George Lucas, his prop master for the movie.

Of course, Merlin and Darhk have already figured this out and have placed George, Amaya, Nate and Ray inside a garbage compactor where George dumped the spear. The compactor is turned on and The Legends tell George that he has to believe he will make inspiring movies one day in order for Nate and Ray to get their powers back. George screams “I want to be a director!” and Nate/Ray get their powers back. Thus they are able to escape.

When the team is outmanned Phil decides to take on the role of Rip Hunter and fire a gun at Merlin/Darhk. Unfortunately for him it doesn’t work but luckily Gideon does and she fires everything she has at them. The last remaining member or The Legion of Doom musketeers arrives in time to snag Rip before the team can get him back on the Waverider.

Sarah was able to grab the medallion and the fragment of the spear before Thawne captured Rip.

The Legends plan to rescue Rip and possibly trade the amulet for his life

The final installment of DC’s 4 night epic crossover event concluded with last night’s episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Still located in Central City The Legends team up with the rest of the crossover team to eliminate The Dominators.

Central City 2016

After escaping the mothership and their abductors the team decides they want to commit an abduction of their own. Mick, Amaya, Nate, Felicity and Cisco head back in time to 1951 to kidnap a Dominator. Back at the base aka the Star Labs hanger, Oliver wants Kara to sit out or minimize her involvement in order to regain a sense of normalcy. He can’t handle all the aliens, even if a good one is on his side.

While Oliver continues to piss off Kara, Caitlin and Martin work on a plan to figure out how to defeat The Dominators back at Star Labs. Without Ray they aren’t doing too well. Luckily Martin’s daughter Lily helps them out as she has a PhD in Nanophysiology.

Timeship Central City 2016

On the timeship Cisco and Felicity geek out and start asking Nate all these techy questions that he can’t answer. They also throw in a Grease reference. “This ship is automatic. Systematic. Hydromatic.”

Redmond, Oregon 1951

The team lands in 1951 Redmond, Oregon moments later and Felicity experiences all the side effects of time travel. Therefore Felicity and Cisco are forced to stay on the timeship but not before Nate throws in a Princess Bride reference.

In the field Nate finally brings out his star spangled supersuit. Mick is not a fan but then again he really doesn’t like anything. While Mick, Amaya and Nate wait for a weak alien in the group, Cisco and Felicity have a mini therapy session. She tries to get him to see Barry’s point of view and understand that Dante’s death wasn’t his fault. It doesn’t work.

Cisco doesn’t have to dwell on it for long as Mick, Amaya and Nate spot a stray Dominator and make a move. They torch and beat it up a bit in order to grab it. Unfortunately they were not the only one’s looking to capture a Dominator. The group encounters a special government agent squad lead by Agent Smith and they are tranquilized and taken. Cisco and Felicity jump into action to rescue them.

Inside the cell Amaya and Nate realize the tranquilizer they were shot with is affecting their powers. They also learn of their cellmate; The Dominator they tried to capture earlier. They attempt to communicate with it.

Star Labs Central City 2016

Back at Star Labs Martin’s daughter (Lily) notices her father seems off. He is acting distant and treating her like a stranger, which to him she is. However, Martin doesn’t plan on dealing with this adversity for too long. He plans on restoring the timeline and in doing so will erase Lily from existence.

On the other side of town The White Canary (Sarah), The Green Arrow (Oliver), The Flash (Barry) and The Atom (Ray) are waiting for the president but are greeted by Agent Smith. The same Agent Smith, now much older, who kidnapped Amaya, Mick, Nate and The Dominator back in 1951. Smith informs the team that The Dominators dislike metas because they perceive them as a threat. Instead of accepting the team’s help, Smith and his special agents engage in a battle with the team.

Redmond, Oregon 1951

The other half of the team learns The Dominators are here to determine if the metahumans (at that period of time the JSA) are a threat. They are then rescued by the nerds (Cisco and Felicity) and set The Dominator that they captured free. Turns out the Waverider has a Dominator ship and they use that ship to send the Dominator back to its mothership. Not before Cisco snagged a transponder from the ship though.

Amaya, Mick, Nate, Felicity and Cisco strap in and return home to Central City 2016.

Central City 2016

At the hanger Agent Smith lets Barry know he knows everything about him and how he altered the timeline. The Dominators are back because of Barry. He unknowingly broke the truce by changing the timeline and creating flashpoint. However Agent Smith lets Barry know of the deal he made with the alien invaders. If Barry surrenders himself to The Dominators they will leave in peace.

The other half of the team returns to the hanger and gets a phone call from The Dominator they saved. He tells them he will spare their lives but if Barry doesn’t turn himself in The Dominators will unleash a weapon that will destroy all metahumans.

After getting this news Dominator ships begin to land all over the world. Cisco tries to call The Dominator back but he doesn’t answer. Hoping to get in contact with The Dominator he spoke to earlier Cisco vibes into the mothership with Nate.

They find him and learn the reason why The Dominators are threatened by Metahumans. They are afraid if bad people get powers they will use them to harm others and destroy the planet. The Dominators have seen it happen before and refuse to let history repeat itself. Speaking of history. Turns out Nate, Amaya, Cisco, Mick and Felicity altered the timeline when they saved The Dominator back in 1951. Cisco is finally able to understand Barry’s side of the story and the regret he feels.

Star Labs Central City 2016

Martin reconciles with Lily and she is able to figure out how to get the Nano-device to work. Is he having a change of heart? Will he still erase her from existence and restore the timeline or choose to save his daughter?

Central City 2016

As usual Barry wants to be a martyr and prepares to turn himself over. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Except for the fact that Oliver and the rest of the team won’t let him leave. Even Cisco wants him to stay. He calls Barry his friend again.

Ships all over the world and in Central City begin opening up. The team quickly discovers that it was a guise used to distract them from the real threat pummeling toward the Earth; The Dominators metabomb.

Martin arrives in time to give Barry the Nano-device crafted by Lily. Team crossover takes on The Dominators to distract them while Barry plants Martin and Lily’s weapon on all them. Amidst the battle Oliver is thrown off a building by the invaders but is saved by Supergirl.

In the air Sarah and Cisco use the Waverider to try and grab the metabomb. They recruit Firestorm to help them. Firestorm has to transmute the device into something harmless.

Supergirl and The Flash go across the globe planting devices on the remaining Dominators. Felicity uses the device to hurt The Dominators allowing Firestorm to successfully transmute the device causing The Dominators to retreat around the world.

Team crossover celebrates their victory and Ray slips in a nod to his Man of Steel days when he says Kara looks like his cousin.

Speaking of Kara. Oliver apologies to her and results in a Barry-Kara-Oliver (an unwilling participant) group hug. Cisco interrupts the moment to Oliver’s relief and presents Kara with a gift he made. The gift is an interdimensional extrapolator that creates small breaches so she can come back to this earth anytime she wants. It also has a communication device so she can contact the team when she wants/needs to.

Mick eavesdrops and learns of the device. He uses it to segway into a pickup line and hits on skirt aka Kara, telling her to call him.

In another part of the hanger Martin makes Jax promise not to tell the team about his daughter. He has had a change of heart and doesn’t want to lose her. If Jax tells the team they will be forced to restore the timeline and erase her from existence. The question remains: what other changes will this aberration make to the timeline if left alone?

Agent Smith briefly returns to speak to the team but before he can get a word out Kara tells him he has been reassigned to Antarctica. After silencing Smith Kara uses her breach device and returns home.

Forgiveness came full circle for Barry in the close of this episode. Diggle forgives him and tells Barry that he has to forgive himself.

Looking to continue the celebration Barry and Oliver head out to have a drink. After a few jabs their conversation turns more sincere. They realize that their lives would not be full if they were normal. They finally appreciate just how lucky they are.

The trailer for the CW event showed us a little bit of the action to come. Everyone teams up to take on aliens or World War Z zombies as Barry refers to them. And by everyone I mean everyone: Supergirl, The Flash, HR Wells, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramone aka Vibe, The Green Arrow, Wild Dog, Spartan, Artemis, Ragman, Felicity Smoak, Sarah Lance aka White Canary, Ray Palmer aka The Atom, Mick Rory aka Heat Wave, Amaya aka Vixen, Nate Heywood aka Citizen Steel (who has acquired himself a super suit) and the team of Martin Stein and Jefferson Jax also known as Firestorm. There will also be an appearance by the infamous Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson in this crossover event. He appears for a second in the trailer about 15 seconds in.

According to inverse.com, the aliens the heroes will be facing are called the Dominators, an invading alien species that wants to take out humanity. If you remember the first time Barry met Supergirl in season 2, she was not aware of any of the other DC heroes like The Flash or The Green Arrow. Supergirl is in her own DC Universe not directly connected to one another like The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are. Therefore Barry has to do some traveling in the multiverse to get Supergirl into the arrow-verse in which his world exists. Barry will bring her in hopes that she can help decimate the alien problem and they sure will need it as the aliens are rumored to have mind-controlling abilities.

The trailer itself shows sequences where Supergirl and The Flash look to be fighting in tandem and then Oliver blaming Barry for their predicament. It seems like each episode of the crossover will stay true to the universe it is in. Meaning, The Flash episode will have its light hearted feel while the Arrow episode will have its usual darker tone.

It looks like a lot of action and humor are coming our way. Check out the trailer for yourself:

Last night’s [Thursday November 10^th] episode of DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow took us back to 1987. Big hair, shoulder pads, Cutting Crew and Obsidian’s triumphant return set up the mood for the “Compromised”. Even Damien Darhk channeled his inner Miami Vice while collecting a fasces, an ancient Imperial Roman symbol of power featuring a bundle of sticks with an axe, indicating the power over life and death, from a buyer in Miami. Looking for his Sonny Crockett to go with his inner Ricardo Tubbs, Eobart Thawne (Reverse Flash) asks Darhk to be his partner with an added bonus of real power. Darhk turns down the offer as he prefers to work alone.

Timeship Inside The Vortex

After what he experienced in the last episode, Jax wants to make small changes to the timeline that he can control; he wants to create small aberrations in order to make the world a better place. Martin warns Jax about the effects even a small change can have on the timeline and reminds him that they are there to restore history not tinker with it.

Speaking of tinkering, Ray begins his cold gun training with Mick. After ruining a few of Mick’s beers, Mick tells Ray to channel his inner anger and rage.

As all this is going on Nate creates a way to track timequakes. A timeseismograph of sorts. Moments after Amaya (Vixen) names his invention it starts tracking an aberration in Washington DC 1987.

Washington DC 1987

Nate and Amaya head to the JSA (Justice Society of America) headquarters to reach out to current JSA members while the rest of The Legends sneak into the White House. After arriving at a warehouse where the JSA training facility is hidden, Nate and Amaya discover no members of the JSA. The facility has been abandoned.

Back at The White House Martin runs into his younger self as Ray channels his inner Captain Cold (Leonard Snart) and steals some of President Reagan’s jelly beans. At least he was nice enough to share them with Mick. Seconds later Darhk crosses their path; he is in The White House as an advisor on the Reagan administration. Sarah learns of his presence and goes on the hunt. She goes after Darhk and subsequently gets the team kicked out of the White House.

Turns out the JSA facility was not exactly abandoned. Obsidian, the same JSA member we saw in 1942, finds Amaya and Nate. Nate knocks him out thinking he is going to attack the duo. After waking up Obsidian tells Amaya that after she left the JSA went on mission and they never made it back. He wasn’t allowed on that mission because he couldn’t be trusted.

After getting kicked out of The White House, the team had to come up with another plan to figure out what Darhk is up to. Hence, Ray and Mick’s stake out during Darhk’s meeting with a KGB agent. A naive young Martin introduces himself to Darhk after following him there. He then questions him for having a meeting with a KGB agent outside of The White House scheduled meetings and gets himself into some hot water. He is then stabbed by Darhk. Mick and Ray can’t get to him in time and therefore present Martin begins to bleed out just as his younger self is. Ray and Mick bring young Martin back to the ship and Gideon proceeds to fix him and save his life.

Timeship Washington DC 1987

Throughout the episode Nate had been trying to get information from Amaya on what his grandfather, Commander Steel, was like. After some prying he learns that the Commander loved to sing and also gets Amaya to open up about her relationship with Rex; Rex and Amaya were going to leave the JSA to start a new life together. Amaya once again uses Obsidian and his connections to get the team into the state dinner. She is proving to be a real asset to the team.

Washington DC 1987

Young Martin is M. I. A. once again and present Martin steps in; He dances with the younger version of his wife, Clarissa. Soon after Darhk arrives to the party and heads to a basement meeting. In said meeting he hands the KGB a cd-rom with government information and gets a box in return. What’s in the box?

The Legends arrive to try and break up the meeting but soon learn Darhk planted a bomb in the room where the state dinner is being held. Mick and Ray go on the hunt for it while Sarah goes after Darhk and the rest of the team takes on his henchmen. Ray tries to channel his inner Snart again and Mick finally realizes he is nothing like Snart was, which is a good thing. He apologizes to Ray for trying to make him like his long-lost friend and tells him to science his way out of disarming the bomb. Ray proceeds to dismantle the cold gun to overload the bomb.

Amaya and Obsidian find Darhk who fires bullets at Obsidian to no avail. Disappointed he shoots at Amaya but Obsidian takes the bullet for her. Sarah then hits Darhk with a ninja star and tells him about his future demise. She chooses to let him live and he is scooped up by Thawne moments later. Sarah tells the team that the time traveler is a speedster and shows them that she was able to swipe the box off Darhk. Seriously, what’s in the box?!

Timeship Washington DC 1987

The team heads back to the timeship and Martin knocks some sense into his younger self. He makes young Martin realize Clarissa is the most important thing in his life. He makes him promise to show that to her. Young Martin sees the error of his ways and agrees to prove his love to Clarissa each and every day.

Gideon heals Obsidian’s wound and we learn that he is gay and that is why he wasn’t trusted to go on the mission back then. He then goes on to tell Amaya that he found true love and that she shouldn’t turn away from love if she finds it again. Will the friendship between Amaya and Nate blossom to something more?

Washington DC 1987

At the close of the episode Thawne created a timeship for Darhk and they head into the speed force. Where are these two headed now? Is Thawne the reason Darhk gained his dark magic?

Last season The Legends were left to take the place of the Time Masters that were destroyed. The season premiere of Legends started in Star City 2016 and uses flashbacks to tell the story of what happened to the Legends.

Star City 2016:

Dr. Nate Heywood comes to Oliver Queen to tell him that the Legends are in trouble. Heywood is a time detective/historian who found the Legend’s timeship in the bottom of the ocean. Queen and Heywood enter the ship and see that it is still keeping Mick in stasis. They wake Mick up and he begins to tell the story of what happened to the rest of the team.

France 1637:

The team is trying to save the King of France. Well most of the team. Sarah is busy fornicating with the Queen while the men are battling. They end up saving the King and restore a small portion of history.

Once the team heads back to the ship they experience a time quake; an unusually large aberration in NYC 1942. NYC was nuked by Nazi’s in 1942. The exact place Rex Tyler told them not to return to as this would be the year the team is killed. The team then discovers that WWII last two more years and Einstein goes missing. Putting two and two together the team realizes Einstein was kidnapped to create the atomic bomb.

NYC 1942:

The team kidnaps Einstein only to discover his ex-wife was the one who helped the Nazi’s create the atomic bomb. Mick’s love for “roasting Nazi’s” and Sarah’s quest to kill Damien Dhark costs the team greatly. They are unable to get the bomb and it makes its way onto a submarine.

Rip Hunter decides to take matters into his own hands. He has been secretly teaching Jefferson about the timeship and uses the time scatter he created to send the team into different parts of history. All except Mick of course who was too injured to travel. Mick is placed in stasis as Rip and the timeship make a collision course for the torpedo with the bomb and stop NYC from being nuked. Rip presumably goes down with his ship.

Star City 2016:

Mick and Heywood team up to find the other Legends.

South Dakota 70 Million Years Ago:

Ray is a caveman being chased by a T-Rex.

England 821:

Jefferson and Martin are Jesters that are about to have their heads taken off.

Salem 1693:

Sarah is corrupting women as usual and is deemed a witch to be burned at the stake.

After the team is reassembled they hear Rip’s final message. “History is yours now, my dear Legends.” The team is still unable to locate him.

Columbia 1942:

We then head to 1942 Columbia where Einstein acknowledges his ex-wife’s contributions and in turn restores history. We also learn that Damien Dhark and Eobard Thawne (Reverse Flash) are working together. The Legends are then confronted by the Justice Society of America (JSA).

The JSA is made up of Commander Steel, Dr. Mid-Nite, Hourman (Rex Tyler), Vixen, Stargirl and Obsidian.

JSA Headquarters 1942:

The Legends are held in a cell at the JSA headquarters while Thawne is out there giving a serum to Hitler that creates super soldiers. After pleading their case the Legends are let go and oddly enough Martin is appointed interim captain of the ship.

Both the JSA and Legends team up (well The Legends intrude on the JSA’s undercover operation…. same thing) to go after Krieger aka Captain Nazi to save the JSA members from dying. Martin sings for his life and Ray causes a fight after he won’t salute Hitler. Stargirl shuts down the fight with one blast from her staff.

The teams head back to the ship and that is where Sarah discovers Heywood is a hemophiliac; his blood doesn’t clot and he could die from a minor injury.

Fountainbleu Forest 1942:

Captain Nazi injects himself with the serum and becomes a hulk-like figure. The teams are forced to pull back and leave behind Vixen and Ray. However, Rex does recover the amulet.

Captain Nazi and tow capture The Atom (Ray) and Vixen. Rex is willing to sacrifice the two to end the war a day earlier, however Sarah (now the new captain of the ship) won’t allow that to happen.

Back in the bunker where Ray and Vixen are being kept Ray discovers the serum and tweaks it in order to give him superpowers. Unfortunately before he is able to inject himself he is stopped by the JSA and Legends rescue.

Outside the camp Commander Steel and Dr. Mid-Nite are being attacked by Captain Nazi. Heywood to the rescue! Nate rescues his grandfather via motorcycle and watches Captain Nazi be decimated by an airstrike. However, the celebration doesn’t last long as the grandson-grandfather team are also hit by the airstrike. Nate suffers severe internal bleeding and is basically dying until Ray sacrifices his chance at superpowers and gives the serum to Nate, saving his life. They return to NYC 1942.

NYC 1942:

Commander Steel’s dog tags return around Nate’s neck signifying the timeline has been restored.

JSA Headquarters 1942:

Rex meets Thawne face to face and learns that Thawne erased him from the timeline. Thawne then kills Rex and steals the amulet.

Next Week

The team heads to Japan and faces off with Shogun.

Nate Heywood becomes Citizen Steel.
