Currently, the Hip-Hop world is waiting to hear Lil Yachty‘s official debut, Teenage Emotions, for better or for worse. To date, the young Atlanta prodigy has already liberated the singles “Peek A Boo” (featuring Migos), “Harley” and “Bring It Back“; now, fans get to hear a new cut titled “X-Men,” which features Texas artist – and rising star in his own right — Evander Griiim.

Given the ultra-Pop vibe of his previously-released album cuts, “X-Men” sees Yachty at his absolute hardest, spitting some of his coldest bars over production from 30 Roc while Griiim handles hook duties:

N***as always sayin’ what they finna do next
Shawty told me she not into you, next
Ain’t really for all that pillow talk
But I put my *** where she kisses you
Yes, I’m a dog with a Gucci collar
I get that brain like a Harvard scholar
I’m sure you saw that one comin’

Evander Griiim, the Afro-Hispanic hipster is leading millennials in a new direction with the assistance of Gucci Mane on the remix for the official single “Right Now”.

Straight out of El Paso, Texas, Evander brings a new level of energy to the music industry.  At just 19 years of age, the stylish hipster has mastered the art of packaging his millennial lifestyle with raspy vocals to produce songs that have quickly resonated with his peers.  His multi-cultural upbringing introduced him to many genres of music.  Having roots in New Orleans and Mexico, Evander’s Afro-Hispanic American background heavily influences his sound.

Evander’s new single “Right Now”couples his high energy vocals with strong synths and heavy 808s with production by his creative partner Skrittzy.  The single landed the talented artist a spot on the west coast run of Rich the Kid’s Rich Forever Tour where his energetic spirit and exciting stage presence produced an exuberant transfer of energy between himself and the audience.  Evander’s hectic work schedule brings him from El Paso to Atlanta quite often to record and with that, rumors of collabs with fan favorites like Gucci Mane and Lil Yachty are in the wind.

With musical influences that include PartyNextDoor, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Andre 3000, and Kid Cudi; Evander prefers not label himself as “Hip Hop”or RNB” but simply wants to be known as an artist.  At the moment, heplanstouse his music to“telltypicalteenage stories of young love and touch on topics that effect mygeneration”.Combining high energy vocals with millennial lifestyle stories, this young Texas talent is steadily on the path to build his fanbase and prove that El Paso can stand up to the best.

Evander Griiim is about his business. If you’ve been to any hip hop shows in the past few months within the southern United States, chances are you have seen the high energy stage show of the El Paso native. Having an ethnic makeup of Mexican and Black, the 19-year-old has been amassing a steady growing fan base with no major press and his momentum has only continued.
