It looks like Desiigner might be tired of feeling the heat from that backburner he’s been sitting on. Presumably taking matter into his own hands, the New York emcee has been dropping notable singles and collabs pretty consistently (ex. “Riich,” “Overseas“).

For his latest, he returns with a solo cut titled “Fiinesse,” which sees production from TrackSmith and gives fans a chance to join him on the song via an open verse (look up #FiinesseChallenge if you’re interested). Check it out below.

Gotta be honest: very interested to see where’s Desiigner‘s trajectory is headed for 2019, given that — while the music has remained solid — he hasn’t really been able to repeat the response received from “Panda” (expect maybe “Timmy Turner“?). This past week, the New York talent delivered a new banger titled “Overseas,” which sees an additional appearance from current Hip-Hop frontrunner Lil Pump.

With all of the G.O.O.D. Music spotlight on the Kanye West-led June releases, Desiigner‘s L.O.D. EP really didn’t get the acknowledgement it deserved (Desiigner never really does post-“Panda,” unfortunately).
