San Jose, California. Home of the ever-growing tech bubble that has been coined as Silicon Valley. Since the days of MySpace, Apple and more; the Northern California area has been home to some of the most successful up-start tech companies in the world and in turn, has made a lot of Bay Area residents rich. Still, just like anywhere else in the country or world, the city has it’s issues and they use music to help mend those wounds. One native, Cola, has start to build up a buzz behind he and his intricately, introspective lyrics. After lighting the fuse with previous release, The Works, the Silicon Valley native returns with the heart-felt track, “Losing It.”

Cola’s forthcoming project, House Shoes serves as an autobiography fueled by anxiety and a desire to escape his current circumstances. His first release pulled from the project, “Losing It” hones an alternative Hip-Hop vibe, still embracing his West Coast roots throughout the melody. Listeners can identify with the turmoil that the lyrics touch on, keeping the vibe of the track real and relatable. To put it plain and simple, the song serves as an ode for anybody who’s been working their ass off, wondering when something will give. This one’s for you.
