At 17, most educated urban youths around the world are yet to find their true calling in life. Most are a silo of talent, passion, and energy – some attainable, some imaginary – eager to make a mark for themselves, while the other few are usually lacking clarity and direction on where to head. This, however, is not true in the case of the young Philadelphia -based entrepreneur, Chris Yangello.

At the young age of 17, Yangello, also popularly known as Chris Yangello Jr., is not only the founder of Forever* – a live-event production and digital music marketing company but is also an artist manager working with top-earning musicians with enough confidence in his expertise to go pro.

Yangello’s long-lived passion for hip-hop and exploration into music drove his interests deeper into the world of live-event production and entrepreneurship as he became fascinated with music festivals, concerts, and artists steering the wheels for it all. Having spent several years in the music industry, Yangello was roped in by Sony Music Entertainment’s REDMusic Label, now known as “The Orchard”, from mid-2018 to late 2019.

This sparked a strong devotion to music for Yangello, which encouraged him to work closely for a wide array of iconic globalscale musicians and music festivals including Made in America 2018, Dreamville Festival, Firefly Music Festival, Rolling Loud Miami 2019, and artists such as Travis Scott, DaBaby, Trippie Redd, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, Gunna, J.I.D, Jake Miller, and 6lack among many others. Even as a student at the Devon Preparatory School, Yangello continues working with and meeting new artists, content creators, and event production experts from across the globe.

“I was able to leap into the world of entrepreneurship only because I had immense love for the hip-hop and music scene. My zeal to explore, learn, and work more in this industry has been a major driving force behind establishing Forever*. In my opinion, there’s isn’t a career as versatile, enjoyable, and competitive as being involved in the music industry,” said Yangello. The first-generation entrepreneur from the Yangello clan has proved that age is no bar to realize one’s dreams and pursue them. Coming up, he looks forward to hosting many more concerts and meeting new artists that co-exist internationally, thereby elevating his knowledge of music and name among the global community.

“I have always had clear priorities and there’s nothing that I value more than my work. I strongly believe, a few years down the line, if I’m able to assist even a few global-scale musicians or celebrities, that would be more valuable than stepping into areas of business that would fetch just mediocre results. In the end, it’s all about consistency and focus. These are the drivers of success that I preach and practice,” added Yangello.
