Rhode Island’s Boy Delivers His Brilliant ‘Boy Estates’ Mix

When you think of Rhode Island you usually don’t expect the area to comprise of hip-hop talent. But Providence, Rhode Island’s very own Boy is a rising artist with a brilliant mix under his belt. Boy gives listeners the best 15-minutes of their lives in his latest project Boy Estates where the artist’ beat selection is out of this world. The hits are endless in his exceptional new project and it is impossible to ignore the fact that he has a lot of swagger to bring to the hip-hop music scene.

While working on his debut album, the process was taking entirely too long so he deciding to make the mix. It was a fun side project for him in the meantime and turned out to be a project that is steadily racking up play on SoundCloud.

“Boy Estates was inspired by my 2016. Since late 2015, I have been really focused on music but last year I riddled with negative friendships, new found relationships, and major strides in my young adult hood,” Boy said when he explained the concept of his mix.

The Rhode Island native crafts a project of six tracks and four skits that compliments the entire canvas of the artists’ sound. With his ability to infect a listeners’ ear with catchy lyrics over fire production, it’s a guarantee that he will stay on our radar. Although it is only the beginning, Boy is already way ahead of his time.

Raleigh Ritchie breaks free in video for “Never Better”

Every now and then, you meet someone who not only makes you realize your full potential, but also frees you, making you want to change for the better. The ways you were previously confined to, and limited by become a thing of the past, thanks to the breath of fresh air you encountered. When he’s not being a star of Game of Thrones, singer Raleigh Ritchie is capturing this sentiment, exactly.

Following up his previous single, “Keep It Simple” Raleigh shares his latest video for “Never Better”. The Casper Kelly-directed clip sees Raleigh in a metaphorical jail cell, until the object of his affection gives him the courage and willpower to break free.

Raleigh Ritchie’s debut album, You’re A Man Now, Boy is due out February 26th.
