Here’s a pleasant surprise for the week: Portland artist Aminé has decided to bless his fans with a new album EP mixtape awesome collection of music titled ONEPOINTFIVE, which sees 13 tracks and noted appearances from Gunna, G Herbo and Rico Nasty.

]]> Electro-Soul duo Snakehips continue to add American urban (urban, period) collabs to their resume. For their latest, the British stars link with Chicago’s Jeremih and Portland’s Aminé for the track, “For The F*** Of It.” The track serves as a follow-up to the tracks “Right Now” (featuring ELHAE, H.E.R. and DRAM) and “Either Way” (featuring Joey BADA$$ and Anne-Marie).

Check out a fairly trippy visual for “For The F*** Of It” above (out now on iTunes), which is said to appear on Snakehips’ forthcoming EP Stay Home Tapes, released April 6th.

Today, Dublin emcee Rejjie Snow liberates his new EP Dear Annie: Part 1, which is said to act as a precursor to his forthcoming official debut album. One of the standouts on this four-track offering is “Egyptian Luvr,” which sees assistance from Aminé, KAYTRANADA and Dana Williams. He explained the meaning behind the soulful cut to the FADER:

The song is about your last moments. Tomorrow isn’t promised and we learn this the hard way… In this song, I was in my last moments [of a relationship], telling my girl how much I love her, and thank you for this journey we rode. My album has lots of different feelings: I wanted it to feel like you’re slowing dying and losing your mind throughout.

“Caroline” emcee Aminé has released a short-minute video (above) of his tour announcement in a news reporter skit style. With his upcoming album Good For You dropping July 28th, it was only right for him to go on tour in support of the release (Towkio will also be joining). Tour For You will start in Seattle on October 6th and will end in Los Angeles on November 16th. Fans knew there wasn’t a Portland tour date, which he responded to via Twitter:

Tickets go on sale Thursday, July 20th via Ticketmaster.
