Jay Elect is more prone to drunk tweeting than he is to releasing music, but his latest tweets seem to be of sober mind and, if speculation is accurate, fans are in store for a hot summer.

Prior to announcing his new YouTube page (his “We Made It” Remix is the sole upload to date), the reclusive rapper tweeted out that he has something planned for July 12. While there’s no indication as to what he meant, it’s possible — given his that his boss Jay Z is all about new rules and surprise albums — that this could be the release date for the long-awaited Act II album. Over the last few months, we’ve certainly gotten an increase in music production from Jay Elect and he could be gearing up for the album drop. Only time will tell.

Jay Electronica‘s Act II: The Patents of Nobility album is still floating around in the clouds somewhere, but we now get a little glimpse into the process. Frank William Miller, Jr. was commissioned to drum up the album’s artwork prior to Jay Elect’s Roc Nation signing. Now, Frank has released the designs on his website. No word on whether or not these mock-ups will make it onto the final product.
