Somehow, amidst all the unexpectedly gritty elements, the “trailer” for the Jay and Bey film that will never be is everything we could have expected. It’s huge, it’s meticulous, it’s gorgeous, Jay all but impersonates Denzel, Bey flaunts her body at nearly every opportunity, and a number of famous friends make an appearance. This is all of the bombast and over-the-top entertainment value of the Carters embodied in a clip. The sheer number of incredible images that come at you in just under four minutes here is astounding. Enjoy the barrage below, and don’t be on the look out for the movie; as you’re warned at the end of the trailer, Run is coming never.
