We’re proud to present a premier of the soulful L’Orange‘s cutting room floor gem, “Until The Fall.” The fact that this track didn’t make the cut should tip you off that April’s The Orchid Daysis worth a listen. “Until The Fall” finds a piercingly calm Boog Brown venting about a relationship gone awry with striking detail and wisdom. “Kisses half fermented on the lips of your misses,” Boog raps, catapulting us directly into the textures and memory flashes of her mental state. “Was it real,” she asks, with rare audible vulnerability that matches the sad reminiscence of L’Orange’s vocal sample, buried under the rainy-day instrumentation of dusty drums and needle cracks. Get into the brief and beautiful “Until The Fall” below.
