Joey Purp is one half of the wild Leather Corduroys, one fraction of the quickly ascending SaveMoney, and one hell of an MC. “Don’t Stop” has Joey in one of his calmest, most straightforward moments–a lot more held together than he sounded on either the Leather Cords EP or on Vic‘s Innanetape. “Don’t Stop” is more precise and more incisive, but the Chicago MC still has that signature rasp that injects each of his verses with a particularly high voltage.
