Today sees a new track from emcee/producer Rock Abruham titled “Craft Gods,” a definite ode to the many beers we all enjoy (extra points for some local nods as well as better known crafts). What makes this concept dope is the fact that it expands throughout Rock’s entire forthcoming album — “Craft Gods” is taken from Thank You Very Much, which he entirely self-produced and “runs like an ongoing story/film” surrounded by “his love for craft beer,” and their favorite pastime of “bottle share.” The project will see additional appearances from Kool Keith, Blu, Crooked I and more.
It should also be noted that Rock isn’t new to this at all: formerly known as Surock, the D.C. veteran first broke out in 2010 alongside Chino XL, Canibus and Copywrite (“Suicypher”) and can crafts hard-hitting Hip-Hop cuts for the likes of Copywrite and Vast Aire.
Check out “Craft Gods” below and pre-order Thank You Very Much here, out January 26th. When purchasing the album, you will be included in a beer raffle for some of the highest rated beers in the world, including one of the most sought after breweries in Northern Virginia by the name of Aslin Beer Co. (Master of Karate, Double Orange Starfish and DDH Neutrino).
