Tomorrow, BET will premiere this year’s Hip-Hop Awards, and the event’s crown jewel will always be the bars. While we await the full line-up of microphone professionals, we did get two clips as an appetizer:
First is the somewhat still-new Instabooth, which allows award attendees to spit some from freestyles. This year, the Big Tigger-led cypher saw participation from T-Pain, Cozz, Mysonne, Dave East, YFN Lucci, A$AP Ferg, Tee Grizzley, DJ Khaled and loads more. Even XXXTentacion delivers some lyrical darts for the camera:
We also got the first official cypher clip, which centered on (f)emcees Kash Doll, Leikeli47, Tokyo Jetz and Rapsody — the latter of whom is probably in the running for hardest verse this year (and this is only the beginning!). Check that out below.
