It’s not the kind of hunger that leads to desperate growling or over-the-top theatrics, it’s one that’s driven him to master his craft to ultimate crispness, while the occasional gruffness sneaks through. The inviting hum of Smoko Ono‘s backdrop sounds just like home for Jarred. Also, sampling “Notorious Thugs” seems to go well pretty often.
