Apollo Brown sure knows how to flip a sample. “The Answer” opens with a Bohemian Rhapsody-like sample, stretched out for a full 30 seconds, so when the drums finally jolt to life, it’s all the more satisfying (not unlike”Sanctified“). The rest of “The Answer” journeys, meditatively, through some bare, uplifting piano, strings, drum and bass, that blossom even further with the choral sample and some ascending horns near the track’s middle.
