The future of New York hip-hop is in great [albeit it small] hands. With so many newcomers leading the charge, Bishop Nehru is looking to stay ahead of the pack with his new mixtape, strictlyFLOWZ. This tape follows up his critically-acclaimed Nehruvia tape which was released back in March. Building off the sound that made him popular, the 16-year-old sticks to minimalist, boom-bap beats and his ferocious flow. It’s reminiscent of the early ’90s while managing not to sound stale.
