G Fresh Meal Prep was created to influence healthy eating habits, while taking away the hassle of having to cook your own food, while encouraging an overall active lifestyle! With our balanced out meals it’s guaranteed to start you off in the right direction to your weight goals. My self currently going though a transformation from 300 to 228, I understand how difficult it is changing a eating habit. Let alone knowing what to cook. Let G Fresh help you start your transformation today and start doing things the G Fresh way!

1. Where you from and what’s the meaning of being an owner?

“I’m from Little Rock, Arkansas … Being a owner means everything to me … It means I have something I can call my own and I can leave for my son. We all they got in the world today!”

2. Who are your influences and role models?

“My mom and dad are my biggest role models. One of my world influencers are Eric Thomas Motivational speaker.”

3. How’d you first fall in love with hip-hop culture and culture?

“Jay-z / Blue Print 2, and Lil Wayne / Da Carter 2. The lyrics they was speaking was straight hate and facts… That was back when rappers was actually talking bout something.”

4. What’s the soundtrack to your life in 5 hip-hop albums?

Blue print 2

Da carter 2

Supa Fly soundtrack

Brent F. – Fuck the world up

5. How do you feel about the world right now and do you feel like this is the time to come together and why?

“The world is crazy right now, but it’s crazy for a reason. A lot of injustice has been going on for years and it’s time for that shit to end. For that reason alone is why everyone need to come together.”

6. What’s your motivation?

“My self… If you can’t motivate your self then it’s going to be hard to get others to truly motivate you! Then of course my family I do it all for them !! Have to leave a good legacy for my son!”

7. Father’s Day was this week, how essential is the black man in this society, what‘s the biggest gem to give to your son?

“A father in the black society is very important! Children today need a lot of guidance with all the negativity and distractions in the world. As a Physical Science teacher I deal with a lot of student single mom homes, which produce the most problematic child. Not saying they can’t change, but the signs are displayed a lot sooner than a two parent house hold! Yes I’m educator as well.”

8. Tell us about about your company G Fresh prep and what inspired it?

“G Fresh Meal Prep was created to influence healthy eating while taking away the hassle of having to cook your own food. Also, encouraging a overall active lifestyle! With our balanced out meals it’s guaranteed to start you off in the right direction to your weight goals. My self currently going though a transformation I understand how difficult it is changing a eating habit. Let alone knowing what to cook. Let G Fresh help you start your transformation today and start doing things the G Fresh way! New menu comes out every Wednesday!.”

9. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned about taking a chance on yourself?

“The biggest I would say is don’t be afraid to fail… Might just be a blessing in disguise.”

10. How important is health and how can you keep a balance?

“With me being a health enthusiast optimum health is Everything! Good Health fuels you to achieve those day to day activities that you need to be great. Health related issues is keeping the black community down and in reason I started G Fresh Meal Prep.

11. Any advice you can give to the youth on starting a positive path in wellness?

“Put the cell phone and game controller down and get active. Trust the process.”

12. What’s next for you?

Making G Fresh the top meal prep company in Arkansas and making a healthy Arkansas!

13. How can new clients support your business?

“Go to website Gfreshmealprep.com or our social media, Instagram: @Gfresh_mealprep and, Facebook: reed’s hmm.”

14. What does RESPECT. mean to you?

Brooklyn, New York artist, Tuu Ra, is here to deliver his latest love anthem, “Feel Right.”

The Jamaican and Haitian artist comes from a musical background, while also taking the time to study audio engineering at, SAE New York. He also founded his own record label, Ifenla Music Group, which has garnered successful artists out of Trinidad, Ghana, Nigeria, West Africa, and the US.

Now here to drop off one of his own releases, Tuu Ra has this to say about the new single:

“This song, ” Feel Right,” is a dancehall tune dedicated to the ladies. It is my second dancehall release following my single, “Walk In Truth,” and is produced by Dopelord Mike. In the song I display more of my singing ability where as my prior releases were mainly hip-hop/rap – until collaborating and grouping with international afro-pop and reggae artists in 2019.

In the song I express my appreciation for “that woman” who knows exactly what to do make me feel right. Truly, the song was birthed with the Jamaican patios line “She know me nah go chase her, money me ah chase me a real boss.” True story, that line was inspired a couple days after talking with a girl who had mutual interest, but really thought I had time for the chase games. She sadly didn’t take my entrepreneurial spirit seriously, so that faded quickly.

From that point of the song l romanticize with lines of gratitude for the woman who knew how to do all the right things when dealing with a boss minded guy like myself and is rewarded for her charm which is capable of getting me to do things for her that I generally wouldn’t do as I joyfully express in the chorus. It’s like she puts the “love spell” on me, forcing me to soften up with her calm sweetness. Which was greatly depicted in the cover designed by Ghanaian graphic designer Pius.”

Chicago’s own, up and coming artist, DamnDanial, is rapidly gaining traction as a fan favorite across his community. Today he is here to share his latest release, “HML.”

Through his self-produced R&B inspired beats and melodic raps, Danial’s music is unique and infectious. He cites inspiration from artists such as Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Gunna, & Eminem.

Much of his music is inspired by his Pakistani pride and heritage as his interest in music began as a child. In his teenage years, he became a self-taught guitarist, and later found a passion for creating beats and ultimately found his calling when he began rapping over them.

In 2017, DamnDanial opened for Zack Knight (one of the most successful singer-songwriters of Pakistani descent) in his hometown of Chicago. Earlier this year, DamnDanial released his first music video for the song “It’s Danny.” Other songs he is known for include “HMU,” “Ride for Me,” & “What’s the Move.”

Speaking first hand from a Black man in today’s society, he drops raw lyrics from his own experiences and personal thoughts of how he feels about how Black lives are treated in our so called, “Land of the free.”

With lyrics like: “Black man lives are being wasted,” “Wish I could talk about the block and the streets, or when that time my homie got shot by police,” and “All I could think was Marcus Garvey was right!” – we get reminded how so many Black injustices in this country go unnoticed in this high energy track.

What is your name and what city do you rep?

PeacefulPinder I was born and raised in Seattle and spent a couple years in LA.

Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?

“TraPeaceArtist is my debut album, it drops June 26th. The inspiration for the project was really telling my story growing up in a drug and alcohol infested home. Abuse of substances was heavy and violence was everywhere. The project concept is trap, melodic sounds that tell the story in a fun way of overcoming those obstacles and creating a life of abundance and bliss.”

What is unique about you and your music?

“There is an originality to my songwriting, flows and cadence. Feedback is usually that I don’t really sound like anybody and I enjoy that I want to create my sound and style within hip-hop.”

What shaped your music?

“Life experiences and listening to other music growing up. I loved to listen to Nas, Big L, and Jay-Z growing up, and recent influences have been J.Cole and Russ type artists.”

When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

“When I started freestyling at parties and people would just vibe and get so hype about the bars and flow that it was time to take it serious.”

What type of music do you listen to?

“Mainly hip-hop, but i enjoy some Rock n Roll, and chill hop type music.”

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

“I love to play and coach basketball, it is important to me to give back to the youth and make a positive impact on their lives. Give them the type of wisdom, knowledge and conversation that was helpful to me growing up.”

Happiness to you is…

“Being in the moment!”

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?

“Be patient. It is a long term game, perfect the craft and spend a lot of hours learning and executing each part with diligence. Recording, mixing, mastering and producing all of it.”

Tell us about your upcoming projects…

“TraPeaceArtist June 26th!”

“5G is a fire free mixtape on SoundCloud and YouTube!”

Where do we find you music / music projects?

“On all platforms. Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, Amazon Music etc.”

Any last words for the readers?

“Peace and Love!”
