Recently Rick bars released a song called “Replay the Block” where he talks about rappers using violence to sell an image. Quote from the song “I ain’t no killer but bet I’m realer you phonies really need to stop”. Rick Bars also explains in recent interviews that he understands the art of storytelling however, completely fabricated violence or lifestyles are toxic to the hip-hop community. He also mentions that guns seem to be the main topic of most artists coming out. (Of course, It depends what artist or genre you listen to) His goal is to bring positive energy to the youth while still being aware of real social issues.
This track has reached over 500kviews on YouTube in a couple of weeks and is set to hit 1million in its first month. The track is completely produced By Rick himself and writes all his lyrics. He does not use samples or stock loops to create his beats (all original) He produces more beats than songs as you can see by his YouTube channel catalog.
