Hip-Hop artist MARCUS ARIAH upcoming release is a depiction of our current world through his own pen; with tracks like ‘No Justice’ illustrating our lack of faith in the current system and the need for change. Marcus Ariah also has a call to action: Protect Black women. Inspired by the likes of Nas and Tupac, Marcus shares his music in the form of storytelling and Mask Up is no different. Much like a coming of age story; his new EP allows listeners to travel through time, as he reflects on past shortcomings and his current growth. Marcus reminds fans that the show will go on, despite being quarantined with tracks like ‘Pretend’. Marcus has proven to be a relatable source of inspiration and this EP only furthers that legacy. He describes his feelings towards this project as a ‘realization of priorities’ which many of us can relate to, as well as having formed a new way of thinking. A different vibe compared to his last project ‘Silkyszn’ which was released last year. Marcus continues to put out music that is not only relevant but an honest showcasing of his life.
