Antwayne Doctor, professionally known as Babywock, made a transition from managing two major artists to opening his own label. His journey started back in 2016 when he began managing Lil Pump and Smokepurpp. Furthermore, he also worked with other big names such as Ski Mask The Slump God, XXXTENTACION, Yung Bans, and more. Babywock took the success of the two artists he curated and was successful enough to bring Lil Pump to WBMG and Smokepurpp to Alamo Records. Both of his artists were signed and serve as an early achievement for the two. Moreover, Babywock described the experience in management as “exciting, but overwhelming”.
Three years ago, he decided to take a step back and started working on building his personal brand. In July of 2020, Babywock started his own record label, Wock World Records, LLC. The label focuses on furthering the success of independent recording artists and helping them build a successful platform. The success of the label has been unstoppable and Babywock is the first independently signed artist to the label.
The label’s success furthers to Wock filming his first music video for his new single “Sometime,” which is available on all DSP’s. There is no doubt that with the great expertise and keen knowledge of Babywock, along with the assistance of his team at Wock World Records, LLC this new recording label will have continued success.
