Louisiana’s teenage prodigy LiBand has put his hometown of Shreveport on the map with “Due Date.” At age 16, he’s receiving high praise for his transparent lyricism and ability to contrive genuine messages with each song he curates.
Much like his influences, Tupac and NBA Youngboy, LiBand authentically tell stories of his life through music. There is no acting or gimmick with the young emcee. He speaks his life story on every song by himself or affiliated with him.
For him, it’s beyond the time that true stories and triumphs are brought more to light about African American rappers. Furthermore, LiBand authentically curates messages of loyalty and black struggle. He hopes to connect with fans throughout the world. It’s overdue that “Due Date” is a hit viral success so check it out below.
