After composing so many songs for himself and other known artists, it looks like Playa has finally made a masterpiece single that will hit the Billboard Charts. The well-known songwriter and singer perfected the new single with help from a good friend, Sequence Clark. The latter is known for his fruitful collaborations with famous artists such as Timbaland, Gorilla Zoe, Meek Mill, Big Sean, and Kevin Gates. Both songwriters are equally talented and highly skilled when it comes to creating the next big hit. The two of them coming together is a sure sign of success. This rare collaborative work is one of several that resulted in topnotch outputs. Clark’s strong influence on Playa is observable in the way he works long hours in the recording studio until he gets the sounds right. While both are successful apart from each other, their team-up is sure to inspire other prominent artists to continue to collaborate with different talents.
Playa’s humble history illustrates that one need not have a related degree when pursuing a career in the music industry. One has to be willing to learn and committed enough to see it through. There should be a constant effort to elevate one’s craft, a conscious initiative to learn something new every day without having to be told. These are the things that Playa made sure to do repeatedly. He learned from the masters of R&B and Hip-Hop, making him an excellent candidate to create a groundbreaking song. His good friend, Mauriez, greatly influenced his love for music. The two were inseparable during their days as students. Playa instantly developed a strong attraction towards listening to different musical genres. Before he knew it, he was already recording songs with his friend.
Playa and Mauriez formed a singing group by the name of, Top Floor, and created a hit, “Same Cloth.” “Same Cloth” received praises and recognition from athletes and artists such as Kevin Garnett, and Snoop Dogg. When Mauriez was incarcerated, Playa continued to carry the torch and pursue his passion despite the unfavorable circumstances. He pushed himself to hold the fort, as he wants his friend to come home to the life they built and will keep improving together. His journey to create the most beautiful songs in the world is a story of strength and faith.
It was during the time that Playa part “Top Floor,” that their song, “Same Cloth,” put them on the map as artists. It received praise from the likes of Snoop Dogg and former NBA player Kevin Garnnet.
