Sehemyre is an artist and producer born August 9, 1997 in Venezuela later moving to Medellin, Columbia. The name ‘SEHEMYRE’ is inspired by the phrase “She is my desire” has worked with many rising artists ranging from Slimedollaz, Diego Money, Yung Beef, La Zowi, La Albany, SwagHollywood, Rewind Raps, BootyChain, and TommyCraze. What separates Sehemyre from everyone else is not chasing fame and only pursuing improving himself everyday.
Sehemyre: It’s word play between “she are my dreams” and “she’s my desire”, I ended up mixing those word up and that’s how I came up with it.RESPECT.: Who are your musical influences?
Sehemyre: As far as producers go, xxyyxx was the one that inspired the most to start producing, also, Swum, Mr. Carmack, Yung Sherman, and another SoundCloud producer called rxdlxst which I have several single with.
RESPECT.: Who have you worked with?Sehemyre: I’ve worked with several artists, such as: Yung Beef, La Zowi, Albany, Slime Dollaz, Diego Money, Cold Hart, Bootychain, Swaghollywood, Rewind Raps, Tommy Craze.
RESPECT.: What are you currently working/worked as far as singles and projects?
Sehemyre: At this moment, I’m trying to put out more song as an artist/singer (which are in Spanish) and I also got a lot of things coming as a producer, with artist that I really fuck with.
RESPECT.: What do you bring to the game?
Sehemyre: I bring versatility and a way to inspire others to make music without rules to just let it flow and have fun with it.
RESPECT.: What artist/producers would you like to work with in the future?
Sehemyre: I’d like to work with Unotheactivist, Yung Bans, and a more artist from the underground scene.
RESPECT.: Can we expect any new music from you this summer?
Sehemyre: Yes for sure, a lot more music coming, as an artist and a producer.
RESPECT.: What does RESPECT. mean to you?
Sehemyre: To me respect means a lot, it’s worth more than cloud, followers, and all that. Once you have respect, you got status, social proof. And more importantly you can’t buy it at the corner store, you gotta earn it the hard way little by little as time goes.
