As we all get used to being stuck indoors during the COVID-19 outbreak, one thing that quickly becomes a missing part of our lives is gigs and events. Live shows are a major part of connecting with a community, and being surrounded by the music and the entertainment that we enjoy the most. However, COVID-19 has very much brought an end to our ability to get out there and enjoy the world outside our own homes. This is why the alternative music band, RedrumSociety, is gaining so much traction on several social media platforms.
Sitting indoors, many people are watching Instagram live events more than ever. The group behind the hugely popular song, How I Cope, has uploaded one of their live rehearsals to social media – and the response has been incredible. The live rehearsal has gone viral, attaining a new level of awareness for the band.
Headed up by singer and guitarist, Zach Cohen, RedrumSociety has been able to build a large following already. However, their recent social media prominence should mean that, post-COVID, the group has a whole new audience waiting to buy into their shows. The energy and charisma on display has helped to propel the video to a whole new variety of audience and has introduced people to RedrumSociety who might have never heard of them before.
Major tracks released by the band, including Ego, How I Cope and Crumble, have already received large quantities of views on social media. RedrumSociety’s recent live rehearsal has simply helped the band’s popularity grow further. This follows their recent chart success, with titles such as Crumble reaching as high as #15 on the iTunes charts. They also managed to reach the Top 10 in as many as seven countries. Their appearance, hosted on “60 Minutes”, was a huge hit with their online audience as well.
With a rich sound built on an alternative indie sound, RedrumSociety have quickly built up a large audience from their hometown in Palm Beach, Florida and beyond. The future certainly looks bright for this ambitious group, which seem to be going from strength to strength in the industry.
From the prominence of their unforgotten track How I Cope to the newfound success of Ego and Crumble, their live performance added a boost in visibility for them. This can only help further the ambitions of a musical group that looks to make 2020 a year of major success amid adversity during these unprecedented times.
RedrumSociety Announces New Acoustic Album
Their forthcoming album, titled Redrum Acoustic Vol. 1, will mark an interesting departure from previous sounds. Normally the band blends an interesting mix between indie rock and alternative. This new acoustic album offers a different sound altogether. The album is a remix of previous released tracks; Ego, Crumble, How I Cope, and In My Bed. This acoustic album can go a long way to help open up the Palm Beach-based band to a whole new audience.
