Derrian Perry, otherwise knows as “Phreshy” is a name you’ve probably heard. It’s been said that Phreshy is one of the most sought after entertainment and small business publicists in the industry. In just under 3 years, the Houston, TX native has worked with some of the best brands in the industry, helping add value and connecting the dots.

In late 2017, while sleeping on his friend’s sofa, Phreshy decided to leave his career in property management. He packed up everything and moved to Atlanta. During this transitional time, the self taught publicist was interning and figuring things out.

” I really didn’t know much about what I was doing. But knew I enjoyed helping people’s brands grow and connecting the dots for them. One of my first clients, Jmulan said she wanted to go to the BET Awards. But not just go, she wanted to get invited and I was determined to make it happen. Fast forward to today, that one play changed my entire world. Now I own my own boutique firm and Live in Atlanta, GA” Phreshy stated.

From Jmulan, to award winning actor and comedian Blameitonkway, Blac Chyna, Sky Days, Karen Civil and more, Phreshy has worked with the best of them.

“I’m grateful honestly. People trusting you with their brands is a blessing. Especially since in the back of my head I know I have no formal training. I have to give a shoutout to people like Patientce Foster, Latorria Lemon, Jmulan and Linda Luna who constantly had my back and provided me with opportunities to learn. I knew I made it when I had clients at Roc Nation Brunch & The Grammys. As a child I grew up fascinated by the entertainment industry. Being able to say I’m a part of creating moments is a dream come true. ” Phreshy shared.

The Future

This is definitely just the beginning for the young mogul. Phreshy is interested in getting into television production thanks to his taste as a producer on The Real Blac Chyna. His eye is also on artist management. Outside of TV the eager publicist states he’s “just excited to learn more” and focus on growth of his brand.” I want to be the greatest version of myself possible. I want to do it all.
