They say that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. Unfortunately, most people don’t take that advice to heart. They work in jobs to make money rather than to pursue what they love, and they focus on getting by rather than getting ahead. A sad reality is that only 13% of the US workforce is passionate about their jobs. Without passion to drive and motivate you, it’s next to impossible to turn your job into a fulfilling career.
Ricky Cucalon is a man who loves what he does. As CEO of the ATM Movement, he’s managed to turn a fledgling company into a movement that’s growing worldwide. The ATM Movement, which stands for “About The Millions”, is an organization that teaches people to become entrepreneurs using blockchain technology. Through something as convenient as a smartphone, Ricky’s organization gives people the knowledge to navigate cryptocurrency and make enough money to pursue their own passions.
“This year I set myself the goal of traveling,” says Ricky. As part of his work as an entrepreneur, Ricky is able to pursue his goal of traveling the world and attending summits at cities such as Lima, Peru. His second summit is quickly approaching, although the location has yet to be determined. He also plans to expand the ATM Movement to every city in the world, providing opportunities for millions to pursue their passions.
“If your business is not fun, you are in the wrong business,” says Ricky. The cryptocurrency business is obviously one that Ricky enjoys with much success. After investing in Bitcoin in 2016 by buying 18 Bitcoins at $800 apiece, he was able to make a fortune of over $500k. Through his knowledge of the cryptocurrency, forex, and stock markets, he was able to leverage this knowledge into the ATM Movement and help others achieve the same kind of success.
“I started feeling the true freedom when I became able to do what I want, wherever, whenever, and however I want. I want to pass that on to others,” says Ricky. And he certainly has—Ricky has used his position to provide resources to people in need in places like Peru, where he grew up. He intends to contribute resources to educate and empower kids from different communities to grow up and pursue their own passions just as he was able to. So many people are stuck in dead end 9-5 jobs that don’t fulfill them because they’re too afraid to take a risk. After all, the devil you know is better than the one you don’t know. But looking at the success of entrepreneurs like Ricky Cucalon, it’s clear that pursuing your passion is worth the risk. Making money and traveling the world are all possible when you take that risk to do what you love. The ATM Movement is Ricky’s attempt to spread that message to the world.
