“Right Now” is about going hard in the moment and taking advantage of opportunities. A lot of things tried to hold Lil Myro back but those same things are what motivates him to keep going. He knows he is capable of great things and the life that he is “supposed” to live is not even close to where he wants to be. Growing up on the East meant Myro often times had to fend for himself, especially when his mom left him to fend for himself. This song is about bringing awareness to struggles that African Americans like Lil Myro have to go through every day.
