Kevin Major is a 6ft3 point guard for the Men’s Nittany Lions. Growing up for the majority of his childhood In the Soundview area , he knew that it was either Basketball or the streets. Hearing gun shots watching the news and seeing things happen in the nearby area drove me to become better . I wanted better for not only myself but for my family . Basketball is like an Outlet for me , whenever I’m upset or stressed out about something I like going to the courts. It’s kind of like a stress reliever for me a painkiller that heals me . Idolizing NBA star Kemba Walker who’s also from the Soundview area in the Bronx motivated me to be like him .
Kevin Major and the Penn state WB Nittany lions finished 20-8 on the season coached under Leshawn Hammett , Darien Wingate , Reneard Harris Jr , Leroy Hammett . Major was ranked 7th In FGpct in the whole conference . The only others ahead of him on the list are bigs so that makes Major the only Guard on that list . Kevin Major wears jersey number 10 because 10 was the age he was introduced to basketball by his uncle . He would go to all his games at Cardinal Hayes high school and wanted to be just like his uncle .
Expect Kevin Major to be Major this upcoming season . When adversity hits the deck you just got to find a way to overcome it.
