Maryland rapper Suaves Image came through this weekend with his debut EP, Die Tomorrow. It’s an eight-track project boasting the duality of being both street smart and scholarly. Suave explores a range of his own experiences, carefully detailing the juxtaposition of his everyday life. From hard-hitting bangers to soft ballads, Die Tomorrow serves as his initial step toward the legacy Suave hopes to leave behind.
Die Tomorrow follows the release of Suaves debut single, “Mo County,” a track which pays homage to his home of Montgomery County, Maryland. The song features fellow County Kid artist, Bam Alexander who also hails from the area. The two take turns reflecting on growing up in their suburban community while feeling subsidiary to larger surrounding cities. “Mo County” ultimately proclaims the uniqueness of the “Montgomery County experience,” affirming that artists from the area are creative, distinct, and authentic. Check out the project below.
