Julian Marqusie Brown is 25 year old. Professional MC, music artist and songwriter, and actor from Hawaii.
RESPECT.: Who are some of your biggest music influences?
JB: My biggest music influence that had me start the whole music thing was Bow Wow growing up. I was very amazed that a kid who somewhat looked my age on the big screen was getting so much attention. Growing up I was very inspired by a lot of artists. Mainly from the early 2000’s. As I got into music very deeply I looked up more artists from the 80’s and 90’s. Im just a music buff that loves this art basically.
RESPECT.: My biggest accomplishment I would say for acting was getting casted for Hawaii Five-0 with a speaking role. Music wise I would say performing for the DaBaby concert and G-Eazy. Just recently I was given the opportunity to perform and host the Frankie J and Baby Bash concert in our biggest arena and that is a rare opportunity even for someone of my stature that isn’t a main artist.”
RESPECT.: What legacy would you like to leave behind?
JB: I would like to be the guy that gave the opportunity for those who don’t get that chance to show their talents. Whether it be acting modeling or music. I want to be the guide or the torch giver that helps people understand that dreams do come true. Especially in the places that don’t get any recognition at all like Hawaii. There is so much talent out here that never gets to come to the light and that is a big change I want to make. The awards and the accolades of course I want to meet as well. I want to become a legend.”
RESPECT.: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
JB: In the next 5 years I see myself making it to superstardom giving opportunities to future and potential stars. Making my own merchandise and living in a fast lane that will be hard for me to slow down in, while still being a straightedge superstar and an influence to others.
