While influencers work as hard as possible to go viral, Terry Maxwell was able to do it with a simple wave of his hand. How? A video posted to Twitter on January 8th by teenage celebrity Lil Esco 28. Since its release, the clip accumulated over 7 million views to date. Even though Terry was just a bystander in the background, his iconic wave with the words “Hey! How’s it going?” has fueled a mission built on personal branding.
Even though he’s now seeing viral attention, his journey in the field of business started many years ago.
Terry’s first steps in the field of business started during his graduate school studies at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. After graduating, he decided to move out to Miami after a major boost in income from investments in Bitcoin.
During his time in Miami, Terry met up with the posse of Lil Esco 28, and business manager Nillz. He formed an early friendship with the rising crew and quickly became acquainted with social media marketing. Terry currently resides in Miami and currently runs a CBD processing company called M6 Labs, and a brand called Nobel CBD which focuses on white labeling and brand development. Furthermore, Terry is a perfect example of how powerful the internet and social media can be for branding.
