Over the past few months, South Central-bred Philadelphia rapper Shaun Sloan has grown to be one of my favorite artist. He quickly rose to fame in late-2019 with “Wait For Me,” an emotion-fused song that sees the artist fighting sickle cell. Furthermore, Shaun made a notable appearance on Future‘s collaborative effort with 1800 Tequila. “Hot Boy” served as the introduction to the 12-track effort alongside seven other rising acts.
Today, Shaun drops off his long-awaited project, Life Is Life. The 5-song project is full of songs carefully crafted and worth the listen. Moreover, it includes pre-release singles like “You’re My Savior,” which amassed thousands of views since its release. Standout cuts include “Little Brother” and “Alexis Alijai Forver,” which is dedicated to the late singer. Life is Life is exclusively available on TIDAL, check out the “Black Trucks” video below.
