Beginning his journey as a musician by singing in church as a kid, Nashawn Raines fell in love with music at an early age. Currently based in Chicago, he’s found his own sound and has made a name for himself in the industry. This past week, the emerging artist made his year-round debut with a new single titled “Heart On The Line.”
The track, lasting just under four minutes, features a catchy and melodic hook, with heartfelt lyrics in the verses. “Heart On The Line” is about trying to fall in love with a woman who has been hurt in the past by previous men. Nashawn explains how he is different from the other men who have done his girl wrong. He encourages the listener to forget the past and put their heart on the line. Check out the song below.
