Marcus Wayne Simpson, also known as Marcus Money, was brought up in Houston, Texas. Since the beginning, he had consistently felt a profound and sincere connection with music and poet artistry. At the youthful age of 7, the unexpected separation of his parents drove him to move to the harsher part of town with his mother. In middle school, Marcus received the epithet, “Real,” as he began composing and rapping unique verses over well known Hip-Hop beats.

He quickly became affiliated street gangs and explored different avenues regarding drugs and crime. As a result of this, Marcus wound up running in with the police in 2004 and was arrested for possession of ecstasy, marijuana, and cocaine.
Marcus Money is a hardworking musician who went through the entirety of his well deserved money to fabricate and refurnish his own home recording studio where much of his initial music was created. Without accepting any sort of financing for his energy, he started to teach himself and began to make his own music and tracks just by blending and building his own chronicles.
