Bronx native, Starmade Day releases a new visual for, “Destined To Be,” featuring Kay Makavel and Shoota Shawn. In the opening clip, he pays homage to his late uncle, Jaquan. He openly reminds us why we have to keep chasing our dreams and to be in control in of our own destiny. This made to help people heal during tough times.
Growing up in the Bronx, Day was heavily influenced by hip hop music. At a young age he began to write music and study the craft because of his passion for music. In 2011, he started an independent recording label, M.A.D.E (My Ambition Drives Everything). This platform was created to innovate the culture so, the younger generation be can come together. He utilizes this platform as a tool, to bring independent artist together and create timeless records. This creative emcee explains how finding happiness in a dark place motivated him to more substantial music. Losing the closest people to him became the driving force behind his new bodies of work. This new chapter helped him create a better opportunity for himself, because he wanted to inspire people to stay focused. Day’s distinctive ingenious process creates meaningful music that everyone can relate too.
Through each record, Day continues to display more about his life and personality in diplomatic ways. For each project he tells different stories that help us to understand him better as an artist. He uses his music as a main tool to express himself because he believes music brings people together. Forming timeless records is therapeutic to his supporters. Being able to help others in a time of need is his biggest accomplishment. As Day continues to embrace his new journey he is constantly releasing new music.
