High performing professional athletes and CEOs don’t necessarily lead by the book. Not all of them celebrate small wins or are full of praise, but somehow, in some way or the other, they manage to deliver striking performances consistently. Few of them even set the bar for the whole industry. But who are the faces involved in training the high performing professionals? Among many in the business, former elite athlete turned entrepreneur, Dr. Ju Hearn is steering the wheel in terms of bringing out the best in highly trained athletes as well as CEOs at his High IQ Academy.
“As important as it is for top athletes to undergo physical and mental training, business leadership is equally complex, and hence, CEOs, too, need guidance to reach their full potential. This is where High IQ Academy comes to the rescue. It’s not all about just playing the sport, leading a team, and winning in it. Rather, preparation for the real world is what one needs, irrespective of the profession,” says Dr. Hearn.
Being an athletic trainer, keynote speaker, and influencer, Dr. Hearn believes that the programs at High IQ Academy are designed in a way that both athletes and CEOs or anyone, in general, can benefit by seeking training. Through a well-strategized, rigorous plan, High IQ Academy prepares young student–athletes as well as aspiring entrepreneurs by providing education, mentorship, and leadership in various ways. To date, Dr. Hearn’s academy has played a significant role in shaping some of the top leaders and athletes of the world.
“By undergoing training at High IQ, students learn to carefully examine situations and approach them accordingly. This quality helps them keep their reactions and emotional state under control,” adds Dr. Hearn.
According to the former athlete Dr. Hearn, who is now also a physical and massage therapist, and nutritionist, along with being an athletic trainer, keynote speaker, and entrepreneur, the elements that help and continue to support him are dedication, preparation, work ethics, pre-planning, and faith. “There are some traits that I have carried forward in my entrepreneurial journey from the previous athletic days. I take pride in stating that not much has changed, even though my profession has—I still love to learn, challenge myself, and pursue things that make others as well as me uncomfortable. This is perhaps the result of my brainchild, High IQ Academy,” he says.
Having prepared and witnessed tens of hundreds of renowned athletes and entrepreneurs rising to the top year after year, Dr. Hearn recommends to the aspirants that they needn’t be someone from the sports or corporate world to recognize the importance of High IQ programs—anyone looking to grow in their profession, improve their mental and physical well-being, and performance on the job can enroll.
