Brooklyn rapper Smoove’L has been making serious noise this past year following his latest releases. This past week, Run Music and Interscope Records welcomed him to their elite roster. The first release under this partnership is Smoove’L hypnotic new single “Palm Angels,” which pays homage to his favored luxury streetwear brand. The video premiered on Complex earlier this week and it’s absolutely fire.
“I first met Smoove’L in a downtown studio last November and his energy was contagious,” says Baroline Diaz, Sr. Director A&R at Interscope Records. “His versatile sound merges the melodic and lyrical elements that embody the drill sound taking over the New York scene. I wanted to sign him immediately.” Baroline is responsible for singing breakout acts such as DaBaby and Ann Marie so there’s not doubt Interscope will propel the artist. Check out the “Palm Angels” video below.
