Lemiert Park’s emerging star G2 has gained the support of 808 Mafia and Cactus Jack Records for his recognizable lyrics and unique flow. “GMG” is latest release and it’s produced by Pyrex Whippa, who went on a hot streak last year. It stands for “get money genre,” an acronym commonly used by the rapper who joins ranks with the likes of Sheck Wes and Southside. The Denied Approved-directed video follows G2 around as he raps about jewelry, success, and women.
“We love to fucking purge, send a nigga straight to the nurse / And I’m prepared for the worse, fuck a curse,” he raps. Check out the video below.
