Schanell Sanders formerly known as the legendary goddess Roxy Reynolds was one of those pioneers who was not afraid to express her sexuality as well as her confidence as a woman. The Philadelphia Pa. born, Ohio made native first begin her road to stardom in the hip-hop and adult entertainment industry in 2005. Sanders wrote and published her first book “Secrets Of A Porn Star” which added author to her resume as well in 2014. The book became the movie released under Double R Productions & Hard Body Ent. After conquering the adult film industry by producing and directing Schanell retired in after her book release and farewell tour. She made her television debut with a breakthrough role on the STARZ hit TV hit series “Power”.
Schanell has set an example of how to transition and leveraged her business-mindset, bilingual abilities and entertainment experience. Most of those actors/actress fade to black holding on to their past, however Schanell transitioned into quite the successful entrepreneur in her post-career. She uses her platform and life story to empower women and men, showing them how she has fought through sacrifices, and lifestyle choices made at a young age.
She is the Founder & CEO of M & S Sanders Trucking Company, a real-estate investor, and has recently launched her new fragrance line, “Untold Truth”. The Untold Truth fragrance project is in partnership with Macy’s and can be purchased at select Macy’s stores around the country.

RESPECT.: What inspired the name “Untold Truth” for your fragrance line, what made you decide to launch it now?
Schanell: Untold Truth came from a past relationship I was in and how most people only view me as ROXY REYNOLDS, when I have so much more to offer and UNTOLD TRUTH came about all of my untold truths people don’t know about me as Schanell Marie Carol, the one who created Roxy Reynolds. I decided to launch it now because I wanted to wait until I retired Roxy Reynolds, to be able to hit major markets like Macy’s to distribute my fragrance.
RESPECT.: You own several businesses, when did you know that’ll you be an executive/boss, what’s the best advice you got about the road it’ll take to success?
Schanell: I always knew I would be a boss because my mom is a boss. The best advice that I have to offer is be determined, stay consistent, have a passion to do what you decide to do, Be open to learn new things, get out of your comfort zone, READ , take risks, & boss the f**k up!
RESPECT.: Does it really take 10,000 hours to make it happen?
Schanell: Long term because any goals that come easy usually doesn’t last and you don’t appreciate It! All long term goals usually turns into generational wealth and family legacy.
RESPECT.: You have a pop-shop in Harlem this month, what do you expect from and what is Santa Claus bringing for Christmas?
Schanell: Yes, December 20th from 6-9pm at Bakery located in Harlem, 1457 Amsterdam Ave is my Untold Truth Christmas party for NYC and I expect to see my new and old fans who love to support me & appreciate my growth. I’m also bringing 100ML, 8ML, 3ML Untold Truth bottles, Untold Truth T shirts and 4 Untold Truth perfume stands to raffle off.
RESPECT.: How should a lady feel wearing “Untold Truth” and what confidence will it bring?
Schanell: All women should feel fearless! To “Wear your truths unapologetically”, it brings confidence to be comfortable in your own skin regardless of your past! That is my message to all women who feel that they can’t succeed due to past decisions. Well I’m here to tell them, if I can do it then you can too.
RESPECT.: Is it better to be naughty or nice?
Be both! Nothing is right if there is no wrong, nothing is positive if there isn’t a negative ! You have to subtract in order to add! So I say both because It’s the best of both worlds.
RESPECT.: What’s one of your untold truths that men should know about women?
Schanell: One of my untold truths that men should know about some women & not all, but most …..they love a big d**k. The girth, the heavy weight, the hard strength and if they are with a man with a petite size appetite, they may seem happy but they do fantasize about a big d**k *laughs*, sorry but that’s an Untold Truth of mines.
RESPECT.: Where will the fragrance be found and what are your plans for 2020?

RESPECT.: If you can have a business dinner with any executive in the world who would it be, what would like to accomplish?
Schanell: Denzel Washington because we share the same Birthday and I would like to act in a movie with him. I think he would be a great acting coach for me and bringing out the many characters that I can play.
RESPECT.: What advice would the 35 year old you give to the 25 you about the road to success?
Schanell: Be patient. All money isn’t good money! Listen to your instincts, have a plan and stick to it and don’t be a follower, be a leader. Do not worry about what ppl think of you! They are gonna talk about you rather it’s good or bad.
RESPECT.: What does RESPECT. mean to you?
Schanell: Respect to me means: POWER. Once you have respect for yourself OTHERS will follow suit! RESPECT is a POWERFUL word and it is found with in 1st! It starts at home. It is something earned, not given. You don’t earn it over night it, takes time to build.
