Ranna’s “Silent Night” spins the Christmas carol you grew up with on its head, instead becoming a wake-up call for women to be mindful that evil never takes a holiday. Over her signature Tim Burtonesque visuals, Ranna spins a deadly tale of too much holiday spirit gone wrong, with catastrophic results.
Long-time friend and industry mentor, KXNG Crooked, recently watched the video and felt compelled to offer up a quote showing his support for the direction Ranna has taken her music in, saying this about the 2x Billboard charting artist.
“When I listen to Ranna’s lyrics and watch her videos closely, I feel like I’m witnessing the next great storyteller of our generation. Her creativity is what’s missing from music.” Crook told her publicist yesterday. “She’s definitely on her way to becoming something special.”
