Premiere: Dimitri McDowell Delivers "Come on Time" Ahead of Holidays

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Dimitri McDowell is the songwriter behind some of your favorite R&B songs. After beginning a professional music career in 2014, McDowell racked up a number of Billboard hits for co-writing. Some of those include Chris Brown‘s “To My Bed” and Wiz Khalifa‘s “Something New.” Moreover, the NY-native has worked with the likes of Summer Walker, Usher, and Ty Dolla $ign.

Stepping into the limelight, Dimitri McDowell shares a song for the holiday season, “Come on Time.” On the soul-fused track, he flexes his unique vocals and ear-grabbing notes to grab the attention of a loved one. Some notable lyrics include: “Ride it like it’s Christmas Eve / Mistletoe, we underneath.” Furthermore, Dimitri’s smooth lyrics lament him as a top-tier artistry.

Dimitri also teased a collaboration with Felly the Voice, who also co-wrote Chris Brown’s “To My Bed.” The two are expecting to release a collaboration at the top of the year. “This time of year is a special time considering my birthday is the 23rd and I’ve been waiting to put out songs; most would say this would be a weird time to drop a Christmas song as an unknown artist, I’m usually a rebel in that case,” he states.
