Hailing from North Miami, rising rapper Dread Zoe dropped off his Late Introduction not too long ago. It’s a 7-track effort hosted by DJ Shawty T, the artist’s official DJ. It also includes his pre-release single “To Be Honest” and new tracks that highlight Dread’s lyrical expertise. Moreover, fellow artistry Armani Ceaser serves as the mixtape’s lone yet fitting feature.
The project provides a look into the life full of obstacles that turned Zoe into a man. Dread Zoe’s moniker stems from his Jamaican decent and hometown of North Miami, which is heavily influenced by Haitians. Growing up among the strong alliance of both groups helped build Zoe’s street credibility in North Miami’s streets.
“It’s my way of breaking the silence. Dropping at the end of the decade signals the end of an era; a farewell disguised as a warning shot for what’s to come. I’m not taking any days off in 2020, this is what we’ve been preparing for,” Dread Zoe states about the project. Check it out below.
