Los Angeles based rapper Lil Drift is reaching new heights as a recording artist. Having recently announced that he will be opening up for Quality Control signee Lil Baby, this emcee is ready for the big leagues. Being heavily influenced by Tupac, Justin Bieber and 21 Savage, his unique sound gives him an edge over his competition. With undeniable superstar qualities, he does an excellent job of remaining authentic on every visual and song he conjures up.
Growing up in Colton, California Lil Drift was exposed to an array of diverse cultures and music at an early age. While in high school, he decided that he would take a stab at music putting his true passion to the test. One day he recorded himself doing a live freestyle and uploaded it to Instagram. The next morning he had over 200,000 views and Lil Drift the rapper was born.
Finding viral success on social media gave the California native the courage he needed to pursue a career as an entertainer full time. His work hard caught the attention of his high school football coach Fat Mack, who introduced him to producer Disko Boogie.
The two hit it off immediately, which led to Drift being signed to Birmingham Entertainment, an independent label based in California. His raw talent is taking him places he never imagined!
