Officially out of his 3 year hiatus after his debut album Talk Back, Kembe X is out promoting his latest project I Was Depressed Until I Made This. The body of work is a stand out as it documents Kembe’s internal growth after coming out of a dark place. During his press run in New York City, I sit with Kembe to discuss the project and how it came about. We dive deep to get an understanding of the Chicago native’s journey and new project.
