Puku’s latest visual for his “Don’t Call” single, is a clear window into the ever evolving music business. This release shows a solo/isolated Puku reflecting inwards and facing his own emotions. The cinematic visual, as moody as it is beautiful, almost feels like you are watching the emcee wrestle with his own thoughts, physically and metaphorically. It is the perfect introduction to the world the young Miami-based crooner has created.“
When asked about what was the driving force behind this material, Puku stated “Don’t Call” is a song about someone moving away from you, though you constantly tried to give them the energy, but seemed to get pushed away. When I produced and wrote this song, I was at a point in my life where I felt distant from a lot of people that I truly believed in and genuinely tried to help grow, but I guess it wasn’t enough”.
His mature sound and superstar qualities will take him far in this business. By him self-producing and writing his own music, he has an edge over the other up and coming artists. Be sure to press play below to stream Puku’s latest video and tap into some new vibes.
