What’s a better relationship for an artist than their very own photographer. When it comes to getting the perfect angles and determining how the public sees you, they’re always there. In this case, that’s Staten Island’s Squidnice and New Jersey videographer and creative director Nilladriz. Back in 2017, Squid was amongst few artists to take off undeniably thanks to the internet. Notable releases that year include “Trap By My Lonely” and “Everywhere I Go,” which currently sits at 1M YouTube views.
From his very first music videos, Squidnice has been accompanied by Nilladriz. The two initially worked on “Port Richmond,” but that was only the start. Since its release over a year ago, the visuals garnered nearly 200K YouTube streams, making history for both the photographer and artists. Similar to YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Louie Bandz, these two are a deadly yet creative combo when together.
“Being from Staten Island, I always wanted to work with Squid. He put the island back on the map and I’m just glad I played a part in his journey,” Nilladriz points out. Check out their breakout record below.
