Karma: the sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.
Tri-City area rapper Karma Knows remembers turning on the radio and hearing Kanye West’s “Gold Digger,” and Outkast’s “Hey Ya!”. The enigmatic young artist, hailing from Washington state’s Tri-city area, credits the early 2000s rappers with his affinity for hip-hop. Karma Knows for two years straight before releasing his first mixtape Mad Potential in 2012, with Hot New Hip Hop. He brings forth a new visual “Ring Alarm”, which shows his creativity and a reminiscence of his childhood.
“I started to realize any pain I’ve ever felt was a reflection of the pain I’ve caused, which made me grow a love for karma and balance in general. I eventually started living by it every day until it only made sense to make it my stage name as well.” His forthcoming, Juice EP is due out January 24th.
