For many Americans, fall is football season. Nothing goes better with football than some pizza, wings and beer, all of which can help contribute to heartburn, indigestion, weight gain, and a myriad of other health concerns. This is why two former restaurateurs, Chef Tryg Siverson and Vanessa Phillips, who were Head Chef and Managing Partner at Friedman’s Restaurant in New York City, decided to get into the snack food game.
With Feel Good Foods, you can have healthy snack and appetizer alternatives (that are allergy-friendly) while enjoying the game of the year. From beef & cheddar taquitos, to Vegetable Empanadas and Pork Potstickers, these snacks will have you wanting more instantly. With prices starting at $4.99 they have a wide array of things to choose from, Feel Good Foods will allow you to pig out like a true football fan without costing you your health, money or taste buds.
Tryg Siverson has worked at world-renowned restaurants like Nobu, Spice Market, Jean-Georges’ V Steakhouse, and Punch Restaurant, and also helped open Bar Marmont in Los Angeles. This chef is educated in agriculture, while Vanessa Phillips’s family is notorious for owning and operating twenty of the top restaurants in New York City.
Phillips’s own health concerns led to her learning how to navigate her gluten intolerance, before it was popular on the mainstream market. As a result, she began making her own line of gluten-free foods out of her apartment in Brooklyn. Upon working together, the two food enthusiasts merged their visions, tastes, and backgrounds to make simple, high-quality foods accessible. They wanted to share their passion for eating well, and so Feel Good Foods was born.
Today Feel Good Foods is carried in major retailers such as Target & Whole Foods. With the purpose of reframing the narrative of frozen foods, this brand is making food fun again for anyone embarking on a healthy lifestyle nationwide. Some of these amazing snacks and appetizers include gluten free potstickers, empanadas, and cauliflower-crust pizza bites, to satisfy your wildest cravings this football season.
