Hip-hop music duo from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Amerikas Addiction consists of members, Joshua Scarver and David Kelly. Joshua serves as the executive producer/business mind and sets the tone for the music and brand. While David handles all the vocals, writing and emotional aspect of creation. The duo’s style is based on a variety of influences that range from Hip-Hop to R&B. They pride themselves on being different and unclassified. As a result, they have adopted the motto “Do What You Desire (#DWYD).” Their quality music and open ended approach to things has earned them a loyal and diverse fan base.
Since their song drop last month, the Hip-Hop duo have just released a new EP entitled Pressure, Pain & Pleasure which was produced exclusively by super producer DJ PAIN1. This project is a culmination of beats and lyrics that depict real life tales of the negatives in life. Songs depict relationships ending, battling with depression from anxiety and loss of family and friends to jail and the grave. DJ PAIN1 provided the perfect backdrops to narrate these stories which every listener could relate to.
