Today, rising hip-hop artist YB premieres his new music video for “My Shot” which is the second single off his upcoming album Fire & Desire. The visual is meant to inspire viewers to stay true to themselves and depicts YB in a scenario that challenges his artistic integrity. Unfazed by the temptation of becoming a “copycat” rap artist, YB displays unwavering commitment to authenticity.
He raps, “I could of did all the things that they did / I could of went to all the places that they went / I could have turned up the flames and got hot / Why would I move without God? / Is it really worth my shot?”
Compromising his art is almost sacrilegious to the rising rapper. The importance of self-worth is a constant theme in this video and on his upcoming album Fire & Desire which drops on 10/9. Fans can watch “My Shot” now and pre-order Fire & Desire this Wednesday.
